Bierschbach, Maurice:
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Forest Heights Long Term Care at the age of 84. Survived by his brother Ron and sister-in-law Olga (late Wilbert). Predeceased by his siblings Wilbert, Bill, Earl, Grace Littwiller (late Harry) and parents Alexander and Mary. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Maurice was a member of Christian Life Community, institutional chef, and was appreciated by other groups for his compassionate listening. He will also be fondly remembered by many friends.
A special thank you to the staff at Forest Heights LTC for their exceptional care of Maurice.
Maurice's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (parish prayers at 8:00 p.m.) on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 148 Madison Ave. S., Kitchener, on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph's R.C. Church or Congregation of the Resurrection would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
