It is with great sadness that Angela Gnepe, of Kitchener, Ontario has passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 in her 92nd year.

Angela was predeceased by her husband Joseph Gnepe (1974), her daughter Jo Anne Reed (2001) and her granddaughter Amanda Gnepe (2004). Also predeceased by her sister Doris Kloepfer, brothers Doug Hunt and Ronald Hunt, and her parents Mary and Leo Hunt.

Angela was a loving mother to Larry Gnepe (Hazel) of Kitchener, David Gnepe (Erika) of Kitchener, and Michael Gnepe (Barbara) of Mildmay. She was a cherished grandmother to 6 grandchildren, Christopher Gnepe, Steven Gnepe, Marty Massel, Gregory Gnepe, Lindsay Gnepe, Mercedes McAmmond and 3 great grandchildren, Naomi Gnepe, Michael Gnepe and David Gnepe. Angela is also survived by her sisters Gloria Ringuette of North Bay and Margaret Culina of Pembroke, Ontario.

Angela was a very loving and generous person who gave of herself in many ways. For years she worked in downtown Kitchener at Englert's Gift Shop, where she was always purchasing gift items to give to her friends and family. The friends she met and made in her lifetime are too numerous to list, especially the life long friends she made from living on Windsor Crescent for 65 years. We will all miss you mom!

Angela's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14th, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral liturgy in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Francis of Assisi RC Church or peopleCare A.R. Goudie would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
