Passed away suddenly, surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of the late George Sachs (2014) for 64 years.
Loving mother of Jeffrey (the late Cindy) Sachs, Sherry (Rob) Pokryfka, and Lorie (Don) Lisk.
Proud grandma of Ian, Amy, Lindsay (Andrew), Aaron (Janic), Brian and Trevor and great-grandma of Nora and Jacob.
Dear sister-in-law of Doreen, Ross and Helen.
Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sisters Edna (Doug) and Doris, her brother Delmar and her nephew Derek.
Audrey's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue at Faith Lutheran Church, 247 Westmount Rd. E. Kitchener, on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery following the reception.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Faith Lutheran Church - Building Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
