Obituary for Ross Smith

Passed away peacefully with family at his side on Saturday, December 29, 2001. Ross Smith 60 years of age was the beloved husband of Lois (nee Henry) Smith of Kitchener. Dear father of Alison Smith of Edmonton and Trevor Smith of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his sister Delores Harrison of Kitchener, brother's-in-law Bill and Jim Henry of Orangeville and sister-in-law Pauline Henry of Toronto. Ross is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents William and Edna Smith, mother and father-in-law Jim and Claris Henry, brother Don Smith, sister Bette Miller, sister's-in-law Gerry Henry and Mary Smith and brother-in-law Carson Henry.

Ross had a great love for music, singing in various choirs as a boy and he sang tenor and baritone in church choirs. He was in the J.M. Schneider Male Chorus for 25 years where he was employed.

The Smith family will receive friends at the Calvin Presbyterian Church (248 Westmount Rd. E., Kitchener) from 10:30AM Wednesday January 2, 2002 followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Rev. Mark Gedcke officiating.

As expressions of sympathy donations to Picks Disease c/o Alzheimer Society and Related Dementia of Kitchener or Calvin Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family (cards may be arranged by calling the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 749-8467).
