Obituary for Alice Lockhart
Lockhart, Alice W. (nee Ingham): Formerly of Kitchener, passed away peacefully at the Babcock Nursing Home, Wardsville on Monday June 6, 2005 at the age of 86 years.
Beloved wife of the late Weldon Lockhart (1981). Loving mother of Diane DeMerchant of Kitchener and Jim Lockhart and his wife Marjorie of Rodney. Grandmother of Kevin, Margaret Ann and Christopher DeMerchant, Allan, Timothy, Terry Lockhart and Mike Brown, and great grandmother of Ryan, Allison, Meghan, Katie, Jessica, and Samantha. Sister of Elizabeth Doherty of New Brunswick, Robert Ingham of B.C. Sister in law of Vivian Lockhart of Dundas. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Margaret Ingham, her step mother, May Ingham.
The Lockhart family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519-749-8467) on Wednesday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
The funeral for Alice will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday June 9, 2005 at 1:30pm. Rev. Rick Burgess officiating. Cremation to follow. Alice will be interred at a later date in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation, Babcock Nursing Home, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
