Jana Cerny
1939 �" 2010

Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Leukemia, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday January 28, 2010, with her loved ones by her side. Beloved wife of Borivoj Frank Cerny for 39 years. Cherished mother of Michael and Daniel. Survived by her sister, Marta. Jana will sadly be missed by the entire K-W-G Czech and Slovak Association and Sokol Canada which she was an active member and organizer. Jana worked at the University of Waterloo in the Library for 30 years until her retirement in 2004.
Jana led an active lifestyle that included many days on the ski slopes and numerous vacation destinations.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday February 2, 2010 from 1 pm until the time of service at 3 pm in the chapel of the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St, Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Reception to follow.
