Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the age of 69.

Loving partner of Daniel Koch for 28 years.

Proud mother of Shelly Trotta, Kelly Lama (Joe) and Carrie Zenger.

Special “mom” to Debra Pratt, Mitchell Pratt (Rosemary), Paul Pratt, Angela Skovsgaard (Eric), Viki Plunkett (Bryan) and Beverley Ferguson.

Proud grandma of Amanda, Katie, Ben, Brittany, Jasmine, Ashanti, Tyreese, Bobby, Chrissy, Markus, Lee, Morgan, Spencer, Tyler, Duncan, Kayla, Tara, Chase, Saige, Zachary, Alexander and Andrew. Great-grandma to Leiland and Kirsten.

Cheryl will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Sharon Yantz, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, special family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Leo and Elsie Yantz and grandson Cody Brown.

Cheryl’s happiest times were traveling, gardening and spending time with her family. She loved to talk and was always interested in who was doing what.

Dan would like to thank the staff of Grand River Cancer Centre, St. Mary’s Hospital and Innisfree House for their compassionate care of Cheryl. Many thanks to family, friends, neighbours and health care providers who supported them during the numerous health issues over the last 5 years.

Cheryl's family invite relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday, April 29, 2019 and will continue from 10-10:45 am on Tuesday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467.

A celebration of Cheryl's life will take place at 11 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion - Polish Branch #412.

Private cremation has taken place.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Innisfree House, Grand River Cancer Centre or St. Mary’s Hospital, in Cheryl’s memory, would be appreciated.
