Obituary for Colin Charles Campbell

Colin Charles Campbell
Campbell, Colin Charles:
May 16, 1986- March 22, 2019

It is with heavy hearts the family of Colin Campbell announce his sudden passing on Friday, March 22, 2019 in his home. Loving and cherished son of Chuck and Anne Campbell (nee Sparrow). He will be deeply missed by his sister Devon and her fiance Ben Jillard. Dear grandson of David James Sparrow. Predeceased by his grandparents Bridget Sparrow and Charlie and Melville (Val) Campbell. Much loved nephew of Paul Sparrow (Deborah), Louise Sparrow (Eric), Murray Campbell (Lindy) and cousin Mackenzie.
Colin was an avid reader and all books were sacred to him. His extensive and renowned collection of comics, graphic novels and books, both soft and hardcover, were all maintained in immaculate condition. His passions were many including music, skateboarding, snowboarding, dogs, cooking and creating exquisite chocolate truffles for his friends and family.
Colin strongly believed in justice for all and lived his life accordingly. He was a strong advocate of social and environmental causes and had a kind and gentle heart. He took every opportunity to be a good Samaritan to anyone in need, regardless of his own personal issues or needs.
He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by many. Loved by all who knew him.
Colin's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 31st, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Adult Outpatient Mental Health Program would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
