Daniel Onisie Toma of Waterloo, Ontario
Passed away suddenly on July 18, 2018 at the age of 37. Daniel was born in Romania on October 2nd, 1980. Son of Silvan and Lidia Toma. He was one of twelve children, whom with his parents, immigrated to Canada in 1990.
Despite his many struggles, Daniel was a loving father, a beloved husband, a devoted son, and a brother who will be greatly missed by his family. He brought happiness and love to the lives of all who knew him. At the age of 18, during an extended hospital stay, Daniel accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour. He always showed respect for God and His Word. He had a love for animals, nature and his family.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Mary, his son Dominic, his parents Silvan and Lidia Toma, and his brothers and sisters; Daniela, Mihaela, Florin, Adrian, Marius, Otniel, Andrei, Samuel, Jennifer, Jonathan and Rebecca. He will also be missed by his foster-mom, Merrilla, his 35 nieces and nephews and his great niece.
Daniel's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m on Saturday, July 21, 2018 and 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 followed by a service from 7:30-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July, 23rd followed by a burial at Williamsburg Cemetery, 1541 Fischer-Hallman Road, Kitchener.
