Condolence: As the year passes, we are remembering with you.

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of the early passing of Delroy. I was in the same class in grade 8 at Stanley Park and fellow school mate at Grand River. Once again our lives intertwined at our jobs at McDonald's. What a nice guy!! His laugh, well I can hear it now. My mother in law Marie, whom also worked at McDonald's, would say if she could, what a great "kid" he was to work with. My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Delroy. Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

Condolence: I met Delroy while volunteering at the Food Bank. Always a pleasant upbeat person, he was a perfect host to the thousands of volunteers, visitors and donors who met him over the years. He was generous, kind and energetic. Delroy loved people in general and his family in particular. The world is a better place for me because I have known Delroy. Rest in peace, my friend.

Condolence: I remember when Delroy first came to Stanley Park Senior Public School.I was being bullied after gym class once and Delroy stepped in and stuck up for me without even knowing who I was. From that day, I knew Delroy was a good person and a kind soul. Delroy was a superb athlete and had a memorable laugh that I can still hear to this day. A light went out when you left us Delroy but you will never be forgotten. My condolences to Delroy's family and many friends.

Condolence: I'm so sad to hear of Delroy's passing. We attended high school together at GRCI and although we weren't close, I remember what a sweet, considerate soul he was. He always seemed respectful and kind and had a great smile, and of course a great athlete. Reading previous posts here online, it appears he retained many of those great qualities throughout his life and made a memorable impression on many. I see so many posts from my fellow GRCI alumni. That is wonderful to see and quite a tribute since it's been years since graduation. Please accept my deepest condolences on his passing. Rest in peace my friend. We will always remember you.

Condolence: It is with deep sadness that I write you on behalf of all of us as The Board of Directors of the Foodbank Waterloo Region. Delroy was a man of true friendly spirit, a devotion to his job and a shining light to all he met. He was first to ask "how are you doing" always making sure that everyone else was taken care of before himself. A wonderful dedicated employee who knew his role was much more than just a driver, he was a representation of the Foodbank and spread thankfulness and joy everywhere he went. Condolence: I am so sorry for your lost. I can only echo the comments of so many others who knew Delroy. He was a lovely person, always with a smile, always offering a helping hand. And such an infectious laugh. He touched many lives through his work and through his kindness. A good man: he will be missed. Teresa

Condolence: My heartfelt sympathy is extended to Delroy's family. Beyond working together at The Food Bank, he as staff, and I as volunteer, we often shared family 'stories'. He would be the first to wish me Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, or just 'have a great weekend'. As his facial hair grew, I chided him about looking more and more like James Harden. He laughed ! I will miss his smile, and quick wit. "Happy to meet, sorry to part, happy to meet again."

Condolence: My deepest condolences for your loss. You will hear the same from all of us at the the Foodbank. He was hardworking and always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. As a new volunteer, he made me feel welcome, helped me get oriented in the warehouse and made me laugh in the lunch room. What a wonderful life legacy to leave. His positive presence will be greatly missed!

Condolence: Mark Denomme and I are so very saddened by the news of Delroy's passing. We both volunteer at the Foodbank and Delroy has been unloading our truck each week for the past couple of years. He was one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Each week he would greet us with his infectious smile and humorous chit chat. He was always helpful and shared his positive attitude with everyone around him. He will be greatly missed by all at the Foodbank and we are honoured to have known him. We will keep Delroy in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Hi Winnie, Franklyn & Tricia, Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved son and brother Delroy Brown. I can’t begin to tell you how heartbroken I am but I also feel a guilt being that I was not around for him as much as I would’ve wanted to be. Delroy was like a brother to me and we’ve shared many awesome memories together while attending high school. I actually just received the news last night (March 20th) from Rob Flynn who lives in Vietnam. That in itself made me so sad to think that we are all so scattered and caught up in our own lives that we unintentionally neglect others that are so important to our lives. Condolence: Sending sincere condolences to all family and friends of Delroy. As a high school friend that hasn’t seen Delroy since moving west, I’m very sad to hear this news. May he Rest In Peace. He was a great guy back at GRCI.

Condolence: I had just heard of Delroy's passing recently and am very saddened by the news. We went to high school together and were basketball teammates for 5 years. We shared a lot of good times there and seeing his smile reminds me of his great laugh. After high school we continued to be friends until we each moved away. I live in Vietnam now but will always keep Delroy in my fond memories. I send my deep condolences to his family.

Condolence: He will be missed by so many people. So many good memories working with him at the food bank. Always there to give me a hand or anyone for that matter. Always was there to talk to or just joking around. His smile and laugh would light up the room. I will never forget the good times and talks we had at food bank.
