Becker, Detlef "Duff":
Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 29th, 2018 at the age of 52.
Leaving behind his brothers Peter and Hutch and sister Petra.
Predeceased by parents Hans and Renate Becker and foster mother Lynn (Glenn) Lawton.
Lovingly remembered by his nieces Leah, Krista, Kayla and Becky, nephews Johnathen, Dominik and JJ and the many who were involved in his life and community.
"Duff seemed to be someone who, despite the hardships of his life, was incredibly positive and very focused on using whatever limited resources and energy he had to help other people."
Duff's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 & 7-9 pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
Private cremation to take place followed by an interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Duff's memory may be made to The Working Centre or Charity of Choice (cards available at the funeral home).
