Condolence From: Douglas and Ruth Weicker Kellough
Condolence: We were both shocked and saddened to read of Don's death when checking online obituaries this evening. Don was always most cheerful and welcoming to us when attending a service or event at St. Matthew. His many years of contributing musically during worship. times are only a small portion of his legacy. Our most heartfelt and sincere sympathy.

Condolence From: William Hackborn
Condolence: I'm very sorry to learn of the passing of cousin Don (my dad, Walter Hachborn, was Don's first cousin). I remember Don from when I was about 6 and my parents took me on visits to Don's parents, Carl and Elfrieda. Don was about 18 years older, so of course I looked up to him. My parents and grandparents sometimes even compared me to Don (we both loved singing, for example). Our paths continued to cross once in a while over the years. I remember the last two times and the kind words we exchanged then: my dad's funeral in 2016, and Honour Hachborn's in 2017.

I extend my condolences to Sandy, Amy, and all those who (like me) knew and loved Don.

Condolence: To Sandy and Amy, we are truly saddened to hear of Dons passing. It was just a few short months ago that we had spent some time together.
I have known Don for over 60 years and we spent many hours together through Scouting.
He also sang at our wedding over 48 years ago.
He was the definition of a true gentleman and best friend. Our time together will always be remembered.
Our sincere condolences go out to the Hachborn family
