The story of Grammy's picture

Grammy. She is the kindest and strongest person I have ever met and I will miss her forever. She was very happy in this picture. It was taken in 2000 when she and I traveled to Saskatoon for her niece Brenda's wedding. We took a little road trip to the town of Waka to visit her family's church. It's St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church. It was an overcast, drizzly day, but the light was just right. I asked her to stand in front of the statue of (I believe) St. Theresa. She loved red and she was wearing her nice red jacket. This is the church her family attended when she was growing up. Her mother told her she could go out dancing as late as she wanted on Saturday nights, as long as she made it to church the next morning. It was this church.
