The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Fr. Frank Reitzel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Dr Mel Cescon
Condolence: It was a special privilege to know Father Frank, and to work with him as his physician. Our visits always extended far beyond medicine to his remarkable knowledge of English literature, and ideas flowing from Blake to Shakespeare. His insight was remarkable.
I will miss him.

Condolence From: Frank and Mary Belanger
Condolence: A loyal and true “Servant of God”..a Gentleman and a Scholar, inspirational, humorous, compassionate, sincere, all the while, of course, being....in his own words....”Politically correct”! ...,
We First met Father Frank over 10 years ago when he was covering for our Priests vacation at St John’s in Burlington. I still see him..local newspaper in hand ..giving phenomenal, meaningful homilies relating to today’s world...so inspiring... We loved him, right from the beginning!
Over these short years, we got to know Father, sharing a meal on occasion, celebrating his birthdays..even though he never aged to us! We loved to hear the stories of his past...Bermuda..his beloved cat...skiing adventures..and so many more. What a life he had! He always showed equal interest in what was going on in our lives.
We will truly miss Father Frank!
..one last request ..Father Frank.....please save a space for us “up there” 10 pew rows back on your right....we will bring the paper for you....

Condolence From: Francis & Remy D'Souza
Condolence: It was way back in 1988 when we went to St. Francis Of Assisi Church in Kitchener for our, very first, Sunday Mass in CANADA, Fr Frank received us with welcoming arms as NEW PARISHIONERS. From then on, we were in ...bussines, so to say. Because, we had a Print Shop...Peerless Printing... already, as OWNERS. Very soon Fr. FRANK placed orders for most of the Church printing needs. He was very kind and friendly. We met him very often, when he was transfered. He never forgot our FIRST names. May GOD Bless His Soul. We pray. Our healthful condolences to the family.
