Passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the age of 62.
Beloved husband of Cecilia. Loving father of Emma Georgiana and Edward Ioan. Loving uncle of Marian (Oana) and Ani. Loving brother of Mariana (Aurel). Gheorghe will be deeply missed by extended family and friends.
Gheorghe's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A service will be held at St. Peter and Paul Romanian Orthodox Church (184 Madison Ave., Kitchener, Ontario, N2G 3M8) on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery (1541 Fisher-Hallman Drive, Kitchener). A reception will take place at St. Peter and Paul Romanian Orthodox Church following the interment.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Camp McGovern would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
