August 21, 1937 - July 29, 2018
Henry passed away peacefully at Innisfree House, Kitchener on Sunday, July 29, 2018. He was in his 81st year. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Wendy (nee Demerling). Loving father of Mike (Victoria), and Katherine. Cherished Papa to Braeden, and Stella. Henry was born in Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he made Kitchener his new home.
After arriving in Kitchener, he met many of his lifetime friends in the Church Youth Group - seven of them became known as "The Dads". Over the years, he has gathered many more friends who have been so very loving and supportive.
Henry's family will receive relatives and friends from 1:30 - 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario or St. Luke's Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
