Ciecwierz, Irena (nee Tabaczynska);
Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Chester Ciecwierz (2002). Loving mother of Roman and his wife Lisa, Stephen, and Elizabeth and her husband Gary Boughner. Proud Babcia of Tim, Ian, Krysztyna, Jessica, Nathaniel and great grandmother of Ethan and Parker. Irena is survived by her dear sister Janina Radatus.
Irena's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers 8 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 66 Shanley St., Kitchener, on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Sacred Heart Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
