My sincere condolences to the family of Lynn Matthews. As a university student I worked at KPL for two summers in a row in the late 1970s. With two other students we spent the summer traveling to parks to deliver children’s programs: story telling, songs, puppet plays...best summer job EVER!! I am still in contact with a few of the former employees... my aunt, Lois Black, was also a librarian at KPL... which is my other connection with this library. I remember that Mr. Matthews was a very warm, kind and friendly person, and of course, passionate about libraries. Again, please accept my condolences
