John Heersink A man I highly Respect!

John and I met at a Call centre in Cambridge, Ontario with another friend Alan. Alan and myself are both from Nigeria. That would be year 2003-2005. Not quiet remember the exact year. In year 2006 I moved from Kitchener to Toronto to start my teaching job career. We often communicates and share Christian faith and values together. On January 29th this year John text me to ask about me and my family. All my family knew him because we use to be neighbor at Doon Village Road in Kitchener. There was a time in my life when I was going through divorce and I almost lost everything, my car broke down and I have no mean to go to work in Scarborogh. John suggested that he have a second car if I can have it as is and fix it. Whatever I can give him for it he will take because John understand my financial hardship then because I was going through divorce. He gave me that Chrystler concord gold colour. I just gave him a small money. To me it was a great gesture from John. I took the car to a mechanic for safety. When I remarried he was there when my wife arrived from Nigeria. Whenever the three of us have something to celebrate John would be there. Recently, at Alan Baby dedication in St. Catherine he was there. I was in the hospital with John few years ago fighting for his life at the critical point of his life. I will often drive from Toronto to Kitchener. John will do anything for we his friends. Any day or time I called John he will answer me with jokes. I will visit in Kitchener in return. John is a member of trustee of my Charity here in Canada. "Big John" as we always called him is a big brother to his Africans friends ( John Fapo and Alan Ikpowosa). We love him so much. I am suppose to visit John on Ontario Family day but I could not for the street outreach that I do in Toronto, we decided to meet during March Break which is the time for me to see John again. I started to calls and text messages but no answer. Alan text me if I heard anything from Big John. I said Yes because I supposed to visit him in Kitchener during Family day long weekend or march break. Then I decided that I will go to John on March Break holiday weekend because he text me his Waterloo new address on January 29th getting there today Saturday March 16th, I was shocked to hear that John had died. Immediately, I called Alan. His wife picked the phone, Alan text me back about funeral arrangement. I am a certified middle school teacher and a Minister of the gospel. I do street ministry with Homeless people and street preaching on the weekends. In my life story John Heersink will always be there. I am very honour and blessed to meeting him. He is Fighter and courageous man. His simple faith in The Lord had see him through. John Heersink is not a perfect man like any of us, but he is a good man, full of compassion. He is go getter man. Hard worker. Obsessed with Hadley Motor Cycle! I will always remember his contagious smile! He love Jesus Christ! Good Night Big John. We will meet again at Jesus Paradise someday! I love you brother in Christ! Shalom!!!
