Michalek, Josef:
Passed away surrounded by his wife and daughters on Monday, March 25, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 74 after a years-long, very brave battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Wanda for 46 years.
Loving Dad of Monica (Jason Giuricich) and Susan (Jeffrey Manol).
Cherished Dziadek of Lily and Gabriel.
Survived by his sister Ana Nebrenska. Josef was predeceased by his brothers Jirka and Emil, and sister Bozena.
Cremation has taken place.
Josef's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30 - 3:15 pm on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of life will take place in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
