Passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the age of 72.

Beloved wife of Balmore Mendoza.
Loving mother of Erika Barbosa (Mike), Ferdi Mendoza and Edwin Mendoza (Rosy).
Cherished grandma of Anthony, Markus, Selena and Alexia.
Lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters and their families.

Lucy will be missed by her loyal customers, who she treated like family at the store she owned and operated, Mi Tienda Latina.

Lucy's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's R.C. Church, 85 Strange St. Kitchener, ON N2G 1R4 on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
