Santos, Maria:
Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Riverbend Place at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Jose Pacheco (2006). Dear mother of Isabel Ventura and her husband Alberto of MA, Dionisio Pacheco and his wife Noemia of Azores, Analia Luis and her husband Antonio of Azores, Joe Pacheco and his wife Margaret of Kitchener, Miguel Pacheco of Azores, Maria Roias and her husband Cesar of Kitchener, Rogerio Pacheco of Kitchener, Paulo Pacheco of Toronto, Maria and her husband Joao Amaral of Kitchener, Ana Rosa and her husband Nuno of Kitchener and Rob Pacheco and his wife Liz of Kitchener. Maria will be missed by her 26 grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Maria's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (vigil prayers at 8:30 p.m.) on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 9:20 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 148 Madison Ave. S., Kitchener, for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
