Passed away with family at her side on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at peopleCare AR Goudie at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Earl Nowack (2000). Loving mother of Kim (Willy), Dale, Brett (Carol), Rick (Konnie) and the late David (1984) and Darrell (2017). Predeceased by daughter-in-law Diana (2011). Proud Grandma/Nana of 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Stella and Frank Skergeth. Dear sister of the late Frankie.
Marie's family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00-3:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Service to Celebrate Smiley's Life will be held in the chapel at 4:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Woodland Cemetery on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to SickKids Foundation or Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
