Passed away, peacefully, on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at St Mary's General Hospital at the age of 89. Beloved Aunt to John Walter (Virginia) Schmuck, Anne Marie (Tim) Hebner, Kathie (Stephen) Mullhall, Robert (Rhonda) Schmuck, William Schmuck, Michael (Bernadette) Schmuck, Paul (Cheryl) Schmuck, Diane Schmuck and Brian (Diana) Schmuck. Survived by her brother, Robert Schmuck and sister-in-law, Barbara Schmuck. She will also be missed by her dear friend, Joan Kerr-Pflug as well as many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Olivia (Fehrenbach) and Albert and siblings, Albert and Kay Schmuck, John and Phyllis Schmuck, Thomas Schmuck, and Joyce Schmuck.
Marjorie graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital in London as a nurse and then worked as a pediatric nurse at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener for 39 years.
Marjorie's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (parish prayers at 8:00 pm) on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 10:00 am -10:45 am followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the chapel. Reception to follow. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society (Blessed Sacrament), Grand River Hospital Foundation or KW Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
