Passed away peacefully surrounded by family into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Kitchener, Ontario. Born March 22, 1935 to David and Maggie Draffin in Castleblaney, Ireland. Married in 1955 to Thomas Henry and immigrated in 1957 to Orangeville, Ontario with a baby and fifty dollars. Dearly loved by her children, Margaret Jenkins and children Stephen and Marcella, Violet (Ronald) Toews and children Andrea (Stephen Andrulis), Heather (Sasha Bhan) and William (Jennifer Causer), and Gordon Henry and children Rolando (Lena Ross), Christopher and David.
Beloved great-grandmother to Devon Henry, Adelaide and Fletcher Bhan, and Joel and Claire Toews.
Predeceased by loving husband Thomas Henry (1991) and great-granddaughter Harper Grace Toews (2014).
Survived by brothers Sam (Sigrid), Hugh (Bertha), William (Immelda) and Victor (Helen) Draffin of N. Ireland and sister Margaret (Gordon) Tutty of Ireland.
Mary's family will receive relatives and friends from 4-4:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Sunday at 5 p.m. Reception to follow. Private interment Woodland Cemetery.
