Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Brenda. Loving father of Scott (Sherry), Kary (Pete Stefanac), Belinda (Perry Buchenauer), Krista, and the late Casey. Survived by daughter-in-law Jen. Proud "Pa" of Hayden, Drew, Sydney, Ema, Cole, Amanda, Liam, Kennadi, Montanna, Meaghan and Bubba. Dear brother of Dick, Jim (Susan) and Bradley (Lynn).
Mike's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
