Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 62.
Beloved son of Margaret and the late Frank Willyung.
Loving partner of Pauline Aquilina.
Dear brother of Frank (the late Lori) and his twin sister Betty Morgan (Harland).
Cherished uncle of Kathryn-Danielle, Madison, Matthew, Fraser (Brittani) and loved great-uncle of Emelia, Ella and Zachary.
He will be remembered well by his cousins.
Michael was a dedicated employee for Purolator for 30 years.
Michael's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Private interment following the reception.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Grand River Cancer Centre for their care and support. Special thanks to all of Mike's amazing friends, including his coworkers from Purolator that supported him through his journey.
