Obituary for Patricia Ruth Marion (Hinsperger)

Patricia Ruth Marion (Hinsperger)
Marion, Patricia Ruth (Hinsperger):

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the great love of her family, on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. Mary's General Hospital. Born in Kitchener on April 28, 1932. Met Nolin as a fellow member of St. Mary's Church choir and married him on July 24, 1954. She and Nolin were members of St. Teresa's Church choir for many years before they moved to Midland in 1990. They continued to sing together as members of St. Margaret's Church choir until Nolin died in 2009, at which time she moved back to Kitchener. Patricia had a zest for life and a love of colour. She brought a smile to everyone she met. In the last year, she took pride in creating colourful art for the residents of The Village of Winston Park. Patricia also loved to dance and did so gracefully with Nolin. No doubt she is now singing and dancing with him again.

Much loved mother of Theresa Markus, Eugene (Carol), Mary (Victor) Ostrowski, Louis (BJ), Philip (Sarah), Louise Gomboc (Dave), Rose (William) Syroid and Emil (Barb). Cherished grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Reunited in heaven with her son Joseph (infancy), son-in-law Adri Markus, parents Sylvester and Ruth, and siblings Gilbert, Robert, Beverly and Garfield.

Family and friends will be received at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. (vigil prayers at 8:30 p.m.). A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Daniel Church, 29 Midland Dr., Kitchener, on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10 a.m. with celebrant Rev. Bradley Markus, grandson of Patricia. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Victoria Harbour, Ontario in the spring. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada or St. Anthony Daniel Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
