Stickney, Phyllis Vera (nee Jack)
Passed away with family at her side at Sunnyside Home on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Harold (2009). Loving mother of Rosalynn Tubbe (Cliff), Stuart Stickney and the late Sheila Lewis (Jim). Proud Grandma of Daniel (Lori), Christie (Jeff), Stephanie (Harold), Elizabeth (Peter), Brandon, Taylor and "GiGi" of Joel, Grace, Gwendolyn, Abigail, Alexander, Jack, Griffin, Julia, Emmett, Sonnet and Henson. Survived by her sister-in-law Wilma Reist. Phyllis worked at Bell Canada for over 32 years, starting her career as a switchboard operator, became a supervisor and completed her career as a traffic clerk.
Phyllis's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service at Glen Acres Baptist Church, 223 Hartwood Ave., Waterloo, on Monday May 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Bible Society, Glen Acres Baptist Church or Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
