Shantz, Ruby Ethel (nee Mikel)

Passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Sunnyside Home at the age of 94.

Beloved wife of the late Verle Shantz.
Loving mother of Linda Eccles (the late Bruce Henderson) and Gary Shantz.
Cherished grandmother of Greg Eccles.
Survived by her sisters-in-law Hazel Mikel, Elva Zehr and Margaret Chesterman and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her granddaughter Lori Lynn Eccles.

Ruby's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home immediately following the visitation, at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
