Obituary for Sandy Lynn Jolley (Wighton)
Jolley, Sandy:
Sandy's sun set in the morning of Monday, April 15, 2019 at the age of 42 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was the star of the family, and much like a star, her light beautifully burnt out after 3 years of battling cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband, John Jolley, and her two beautiful children Nickolas Jolley and Megan Szymanowski. Among those who will experience the loss is Michael Szymanowski. Sandy is predeceased by her father, James "Jim" Wighton, and is survived by her mother, Betty Wighton. She will be missed by her brother, Thomas Wighton, and nephew, Oliver. Sandy will not be forgotten by John's parents, William "Bill" and Donna Marie Jolley, sister-in-law Carolyn (Bill), and brothers-in-law Michael, and Mark (Lisa) and all their children. Sandy's many extended family members and friends will fondly remember her.
Sandy's family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019, with a celebration of life to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Community Church, 10 Gatehouse Dr., Cambridge, ON N1P 1C7.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation - Oncology, or Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre, would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers (cards available at the funeral home).
