I am heartbroken for David, Sarah's family, and her beloved students. Sarah was my dearest colleague, mentor, and close friend. It was an honor to work with Sarah and follow her steps in the humility she modeled for her students. She led them and myself by such kind example. Whatever I possibly did in assisting her in her role, she returned to me 100 fold,always considering my own professional development and research. I will not only miss our many discussions regarding our love for art history, but the countless talks we had in our mutual care and concern for the ethics and humane treatment of animals. Sarah's big heart will live on in all she touched.She was a blessing in my life.
