Passed away peacefully with family at her side at St. Mary's Hospital on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the age of 81. Loving mother of Shirley, Terry (Judy), Freda (Jack) and Paul (Mary). Proud "Nan" of Teri-Marie, Timathy, Billy, Chris, Corey, Lacy, Katrina, Tom (Jen), John, Mitch (predeceased), Matt and Mandy (predeceased). "Big Nan" of 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Gloria White, David Awalt, Larry Awalt and the late Patsy Lobsinger and Diane Cormier.
Shirley's family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Shirley's memorial.
