The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Timothy Grub can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

A brother, in life of any sister (or brother) is very special. They both live together and play with each other, and have so many fond memories. It was shocking and sad to hear about the sudden death of Tim. Never did I think that the youngest member of my siblings would be the first to go. Thinking about those fond memories helps me get through this difficult time. I know that as a child, I used to buy him chocolate lady bugs that were wrapped in coloured foil paper (they looked real and were very large). Every time I gave Tim one of these ladybugs, he ran away in fear. However, as he grew older, he learned to appreciate these wonderful little bugs. I am certain that he had many in his garden. I also know that Tim’s favourite dessert was cinnamon buns, usually home-made by our mother who made the very best cinnamon buns and was known for making fabulous desserts. Tim, like many of us in our family had a weakness for the sweet stuff. I know that every time I will eat a cinnamon bun, I will think of Tim. Tim was also one of the most generous and kind persons I knew and got along really well with his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. I miss you dearly young man and may you rest in peace. My sympathy goes out to all of our family members who are working very hard to do what is needed during this difficult time. All is appreciated.
