Obituary for Valentina Karnupis
Karnupis, Valentina:
Passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Lanark Heights at the age of 97. Beloved wife to the late Bernhards (1992). Loving Mother to Bernie (Darlene) and Arnie. Cherished Grandmother to Britney and Derek. Predeceased by her brother, Peter. She will also be missed by her relatives in Washington State.
Special thanks to the caregivers of Pine Neighbourhood at Lanark Heights LTC.
Valentina's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 10-10:45 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Andrews Latvian Lutheran Church - Sidrabene Retreat Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
