My Reflection.

Dear Karnupis Family, We were saddened to hear of the passing of Valija today. She was a very passionate lady who loved her family and her birthplace Latvia. When she took on a job she did it with all her heart. Sometimes this commitment led to many hours of planning in order to prepare the perfect programs for the Latvian community of Kitchener Waterloo. I spent many years working with Valija helping to foster meaningful programs. She was detail oriented and it showed. Valija lived through the ups and downs of Latvia's history but was still able to have a positive and cheerful attitude. We now live in British Columbia and I haven't seen Valija for quite some time however my memory of Valija will never fade. An energetic lady with many many stories. We will miss you Valija.
