Condolence: Bill was a super guy. I first walked into his office as a extremely green wet behind the ears individual wanting to set up my first company. I walked into the offices on Water St. With no appointment and ask to speak to an accountant. Bill came out to see me and the rest as they say is history. I worked with Bill until his retirement . His help throughout the years was a real blessing and Bill was rock steady. Bill will missed sorely by family and friends.

Condolence: I worked with "Mitch" from 1978 to 1984 at Peat Marwick Mitchell and always enjoyed his storytelling and his sense of humour. These were good days in the Marsland Centre and later at Allen Square. Mitch was well thought of and always jovial and fun loving. He was a good professional and a fine co-worker.

Condolence: Dear family and friends of Bill,
I had the pleasure of serving on the Board of Waterscape Condominium with Bill and sharing a glass of wine with him after the meetings.
My wife and I enjoyed our friendship with Bill during the short period of time that we knew him, he would always greet you with a big smile.
Unfortunately, we are unable to attend the memorial for him tonight please know we will be thinking of you.
Our sincere condolences to you at this very difficult time.

Condolence: Dear Friends and Family of Bill Mitchell,
We are deeply saddened to learn of Bill’s sudden and unexpected passing. Bill has been a good friend to our family since Bill and John first met on January 2, 1976. Bill and John were co-workers as well as friends and shared many great memories both inside and outside the work environment including raising our young families.
Brent and Tyler, one of our special memories is watching the Santa Claus Parade with our two young daughters, with you two boys and with your Mom and Dad. It was a stormy day in Waterloo. We all watched the parade from up above the street looking out the window of your Dad’s office in Allen Square.
We will always be proud of and grateful for the friendship we shared with Bill. He was a good man!!
With love and sadness,
John and Jackie Moore

Condolence: Brent and Tyler,
So many memories of a man, who in my eyes as a young girl, was larger than life. Always an Infectious smile and big Santa hugs. Your Mom and Dad were such a big part of our lives. Lots of laughs , celebrations and happy times to remember but in the last few years we’ve had tremendous tears close to our hearts. His loss is felt on many levels. I sure there is a glass of Bin65 waiting for him with your Mom and Mr. Wieseie ❤️

Condolence: My sincere condolences go out to Bill's sons and their families. My friendship with Bill, (Mitch), goes back to ECI. We shared many wonderful memories filled with laughter, pain and the challenges of just growing up and exploiting life to the fullest. We moved apart but reconnected every so many years and just picked up where we left off. He never changed! Always warm, smiling and positive. I will miss him as all who knew him will.
Thank you for enriching my life Bill...it has been great knowing you!

Condolence: I have had so many fond memories of Bill as a Rotarian over the years. He was the President of the Cambridge (Preston-Hespeler) Rotary Club when I joined 25 years ago. Always ready for a laugh, a joke or a good time. Always ready for a new task or to help where the help was needed. Bill was a great Rotarian and friend. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
