92 years young, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital.

Beloved wife of 65 years to Sydney Norman Abdool. Loving mother of Wendy Atkins (Derek), Sabrina Persaud (Narine), and Karen Horton (David). Cherished Grandmother of Richard (Felicia), Amanda, Steven (Cindy), Alex (Viktoria), Jeffrey, and Kaila. Adored Great-grandmother of Titan and Seychelle.

Survived by her sisters Vernie (Bidda) and Joyce (Jack), sisters-in-law Beryl, Norma (Geoffrey), Barbara (Yogin), Mary, Carmen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Cecil, Walter, Vernon, Sir Harry, Archie, Percy, Rupert and sisters Gwen, Dr. Norma, Daisy, and Doris.

Beryl was a peaceful, gentle soul who treasured her family above all else, and her family considers themselves very lucky for having had her in their lives for so long. The lessons and values she taught them will never be forgotten but rather passed down to future generations. She is loved more than words can describe, will be missed always and remembered fondly by numerous friends and extended family around the world.

Beryl's family wishes to thank Dr. Campbell, Dr. Russek and nurses Angela and Christina for their kind and compassionate care during her final days.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Beryl's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at St. George's Church, 77 Randall Drive, Ajax, followed by a reception in the adjacent Worship Centre. Interment will take place after the reception at 3:30 pm at St. Philip’s on-the-Hill Anglican Church Cemetery, 9400 Kennedy Rd, Unionville (Markham), ON L6C 1N6.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the SickKids Foundation of Toronto would be appreciated by the family (donation cards available at the Henry Walser Funeral Home or by calling 519-749-8467).
