To Curtis’ family and close friends, my thoughts and deepest sympathies are with you. We just started working together over the last few months, so I can’t say that I knew Curtis well, but I was struck by his polite and respectful nature . I’m not sure if it’s a sign of advancing years, but he would always say, “Good morning sir, orThank you, sir”. I most certainly will miss him. Rest In Peace, lad.

Curtis made a significant impact on our son Brandon in the basketball community. He truly believed in Brandon and gave him a chance to take his basketball game to the next level. Curtis always gave good advice, not only regarding basketball, but on life itself. Curtis will always be remembered for what he did for our family. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Curtis personified love and respect.
He expected us to put our passion into whatever we did. He expected us to treat each other respectfully, even when it was difficult to do so.
Thank you for being a true role model to my son.
We wish you knew how much you will be missed.

We are so saddened to learn of Curtis's death. Through a shared love of basketball he became one of our son's best friends at PJ. We could see immediately that Curtis was the kind of friend that a parent wishes for their child. He was respectful, fun loving and a positive influence. The friendship continued and we saw Curtis, Kyle and Ross grow into fine young men and loving fathers. This is a terrible loss and our hearts go out to Curtis's family.
