Rahn, Doreen Anne (nee Heubner)
Passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the age of 70. Loving mother of Melanie (Sandra) and Chris (Tina). Over the top doting Nana of Riley, Teagan and Berkley. Beloved daughter of the late Garnet and Alma Heubner. Dear sister of Wayne (Betty), Keven, and Mark (Susan). Auntie Doreen will be sadly missed by Greg (Hester) and Warren (Megan). Doreen was a longtime member of Kitchener East Presbyterian Church and worked for over 30 years as a Bylaw Officer with the City of Waterloo. Doreen's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue at Kitchener East Presbyterian Church, 10 Zeller Drive, Kitchener, on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 10-10:45 a.m. Funeral Service at the Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the lower hall. Interment at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Alice, ON. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
