The Best of Childhoods

I was fortunate to visit George recently and it brought back childhood memories of the great times we had in Scarborough. As little kids, we played with our Corgi Toys with George supplying the garage and me supplying the farm. Numerous buildings were constructed with Stalock Bricks. We graduated to road hockey, ice hockey and visits to the cottage on Stony Lake. Every day we got into the boat and drove with tremendous speed with a 7.5 horsepower Evinrude to McCracken's Landing, where we played pin ball and pruchased our daily intake of candy. We had great childhood experiences and lived lives worth living.

We were both fortunate that childhood experiences served us well providing the basis for the great relationships we would experience as adults.

George will be missed by his family, friends and community.
