Passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Luke's Place and formerly of the Marian Residence, Cambridge, at the age of 102.
Beloved wife of the late Wallace Mombourquette (1969). Loving mother of Annette (Richard) Totzke, Daniel (late Mary Anne), Elaine (late Joseph Brian) Daly, Carol (Robert) Berger and Gary. Cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandson. She is the last surviving member of her family having been predeceased by 9 siblings.
Helene was born in Mildmay on March 2, 1913. She was a long time parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi parish and had been actively involved with the C.W.L. Helene met her husband Wallace in Cape Breton, NS.
Helene's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish prayers Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church (49 Blueridge Ave., Kitchener) on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the MS Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
