The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Schanzenbacher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I was really saddened to read of Joe's passing and I can only say how sorry I am for you, his family on your loss. I met him years ago when I worked at Orr's and he had his office over on Ottawa Street. We spent a lot of time over the years together, fixing one of Brad's vehicles usually and just talking about life. Suffice to say, Joe was a heck of a guy and I feel blessed to have called him a friend.

God Bless/

Condolence: Joe was a fighter who wouldn’t settle for status quo. He expected a lot from himself! He was such a sweet man with a full life and amazing family. I am glad he is more comfortable and am very sorry for your loss. The world is a little emptier now. But heaven has a new Fire cracker! Hugs!
