Beloved husband of the late Anna.
Loving father of Robert (Karen) and the late Joseph (Janet).

Will be missed by his extended family in Slovenia.

Joe (Ata) escaped from the former Jugoslavia (Slovenija) with his wife Anna (Mama) in 1958. He worked various jobs in Ontario from truck driving in Kirkland Lake to tobacco picking in Tillsonburg. Through hard work and determination he became skilled enough where he built his own house, doing his own framing, roofing, electrical work, and plumbing. He continued his passion for home repair with countless hours of work at his sons' homes. He was a caring, creative man of many talents.
