The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Colin Campbell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: There was a time, when I was still a high school kid. When I was in the throes of my first psychedelic trip, that I saw Colin from across the parking lot at Conestoga Mall. I just had to run full burst across the parking lot to him. There was no stopping me, I remember grabbing his shoulders and giving them a little shake and shouting "I understand you! I get YOU. I get it, I do!". I remember watching Samurai Jack in his room and all the laughs that were had. I remember when I just up and left, booking it to New Hamburg for a month and a bit; coming back he asked why I did that and then hugged me close. Colin you were a beautiful soul and I'll treasure you always.

Condolence: That was a beautiful memorial and when the director urged us to tell our people we love them, all I could think is how much Colin did just that. At the end of every phone call, in the middle of every bear hug and at the beginning of each piece of hard truth, he said I love you. He always meant it. I was so blessed to be loved by him. We are all blessed to have been loved by him. To those of you who loved him most and longest, I cannot imagine... Wishing you all the love in the world right now in the quiet after all the formalities because this is when we need it most.

Condolence: Today was such a wonderful celebration of Colin's life. There was a lot of laughter..many tears...and lots of love.
Colin had a remarkable impact on people. Despite his own struggles he was such a loving friend and son.
Colin will be missed and perhaps there is no better tribute to a life lost too soon.

Condolence: My deepest and sincerest condolences. I met Colin in the hall of his apartment building, when my partner still lived there. We became friends. We talked about music, poetry, books, my dog and other animals. My dog always got excited when Colin would walk by our house. His is a soul that will be greatly missed. Everyday I saw him, spent time with him was always so rich with colour, vibrancy and depth. I will miss you friend. I am glad you are no longer hurting and are free. R.I.P friend.
