The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Detlef "Duff" Becker can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Duff & I were friends for 14 years. I see his great soul as legendary & a hero in this world. He would help me every single time we crossed paths - whether in a line up, or in the rain with packages, or with a new challenge in my life, or to simply say hello & let me know someone actually cared how I was doing. He embodied, & was a true example of community, & a living bright heart, in a place & time in my life I really needed it. Thanks Duff & to all that supported him in his journey, so we could all enjoy his light as long as he were blessed to, & now eternally in timeless vibration. Be free now sweet soul. Sincerely, Amanda
