The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. I was so sorry to learn of Mr. Stephenson's passing. Mr. Stephenson was my teacher in both 1st and 5th grades at Trillium Public School in the 1980s. I ended up getting a PhD and so I have been in many classrooms over the years. Mr. Stephenson stood out as one of my absolute favourite teachers all the way through my education. He had a gift for talking to elementary school students in a way that was completely relatable but never patronizing. He will be very fondly remembered by the many students whose lives he touched.
