My role model

I still remember the very first time Mary came up to me at Benton while she was serving at AWANA. Mary is such a safe person and it means alot to us who come from a shame-based culture. I don't grow up in being treated with grace and love can break a bone. My love bank was so filled up and I responded the calling later to share this grace to China. Mary told me once her kitchen was her mission field and I should add: it was an incubator to send out missionaries. I had never seen a Canadian bakes without a receipe, but Mary is exceptional :) Long time ago, she whipped up some scones and fed me. She seems never throw away even a sprig and that reminds me of Jesus Who a " bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice". Mary demonstrated true spirituality to me. She is soft but strong, still but hard-working, loving but firm. I love her and will miss her!
