The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sarah Lippert can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

thinking of you.....

Dr. Lippert was a kind of person that would do things for you without any expectations. She was so humble about all her accomplishments and would quietly do things for others without making any noise. She was one of the professors who right away agreed to write my recommendation letter for the Maize And Blue Award, which I won, and I'm ever so grateful for her for that. I loved going to field trips to the art museums with her, her snippets of knowledge would bring a new perspective in viewing art. I remember in our trip to the Art Institute of Chicago, her husband joined us and they were both so gracious and kind. Looking back, couple of years ago, our student study abroad trip to Italy got cancelled and I wish it wasn't because that would have allowed me to spend more time with her and get to know her more. It is my loss, that this opportunity was lost. I will miss you Dr. Lippert.
