Gentle soul and booming laugh

My condolences to the family! I lost my father 6 months ago and understand all to well the feeling related to losing someone you love. I had the pleasure to work with Tom when he was at the Agency. Over a career you work with many people however you are very lucky when you develop relationships with very special people you can call a friend. I considered Tom not only a friend but a special human being who was always willing to help others when they were in need. We accomplished a lot together! However, the thing I valued most about this gentle man was the time we spent talking about non work activities. I always left our conversations with a smile, a warm heart and gratitude for sharing the plant with Tom! As I right this I am reminded of time he told me about his bus trip where he likely was going to be the only man. I use to tease him with some one liners and his smile and big laugh filled the room. Most of all he left his spirt with me and any chance I had to talk with him after he retired I really looked forward to it. I will never forget Tom the professional and Tom my friend. Again, my condolences to all of his family! Daniel
